Village Park has been the single best place that I have rented from in my adult life this far. When we moved out to Utah 5 years ago, we spent a year living in downtown Provo before we were priced out. We then moved to Village Park, where we have been living for the last four years.
The best thing about Village Park is the community and it's even better if you get to know some of your neighbors or have friends move in. Much to our surprise after about a year here, we found that a coworker lived here and we then proceeded to all hang out at least once a week.
The buildings are old, but they are always working to improve the community, from repaving roads and fixing the curbs, to fixing up the sports courts. The apartments are spacious, especially for what they charge. Our rent never went up more than like $40 each year.
The office management is kind and they are always willing to help (but be sure to check your work orders if you go to let the office know about any issues, they are only human after all and may forget).
You will be hard pressed to find a healthier apartment community for the value in Utah County.
The only downside is that I have to leave.
